Sacks Parente Rebrands as Newton Golf
In 2022, THP reported that Sacks Parente, known for manufacturing fine “putting instruments,” was expanding with the acquisition of a stateside golf shaft manufacturing company. This move was not only to control the production and quality of their proprietary ULBP (Ultra Low Balance Point) putter shafts but also to lay the groundwork for what would eventually become Newton Golf.

Since then, Newton Golf has gained traction, with significant play and success on the PGA Tour Champions. The shaft designs have received positive reviews, including from THP. The brand has also evolved with a modern flair, featuring bright colors and compelling storytelling. This momentum has led to a restructuring of the brand.
Moving forward, both the putter and shaft divisions will be under the umbrella of NEWTON GOLF, subtitled “A Sacks Parente Company.” The putter branch will now be called “Newton Gravity,” continuing to showcase their ULBP technology along with five new putters on the horizon.
Reasons for the Rebranding
The rebranding aims to align the core values of Sacks Parente with the principles of physics that the brand was founded on. It also allows for the creation of a modern yet timeless blend focused on developing equipment that works smarter, not harder, for all golfers.
All NEWTON GOLF products will be proudly made in the U.S., with putters manufactured in Camarillo, California, and the Motion Shafts handcrafted in St. Joseph, Missouri.
